You will join a highly motivated team, determined to make MANTLE a global beauty brand – while also contributing to positive change within the beauty industry.

The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with a start date in mid-August.

MANTLE is now looking to recruit an Accountant. This person will be an important figure in the finance-team. You will work closely with all teams but especially with the CFO in order to make sure that our financial operations run smoothly, our accounts are accurately maintained, and financial data is correctly processed and reported. As an Accountant, you will play a key role in reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining the general ledger, and assisting with month-end and year-end close procedures.

Main areas of responsibility:

• Process supplier invoices.
• Manage accounting of supplier invoices (assign proper accounts and cost centers).
• Process supplier payments.
• Create manual customer invoices.
• GL Bookings, balance sheet reconciliation.
• Actively participate in monthly, quarterly and annual close and reporting and various finance projects.
• Responsible for VAT returns.
• Maintain Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Process monthly payroll for all employees in accordance with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Create retail orders in Fortnox.
  

Profile & Qualifications:

• A strong eye for detail and consistency.
• Well-organised, structure-loving with excellent planning skills, and can handle multiple different responsibilities, priorities, and projects.
• Solution-oriented individual with a proactive approach.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, most importantly excel and accounting software (such as Fortnox, Capego).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with an ability to quickly analyse situations from multiple perspectives.
• Non-prestigious and down-to-earth team player.
• Strong business mindset and a solid understanding of and interest in sales and marketing.
• You should be comfortable working independently, making informed decisions, and taking initiative to solve problems
• Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Results-oriented personality with a strong appetite to work in a fast-paced environment – genuinely motivated to invest the effort needed to create results and build MANTLE as a company.

Meriting skills and experiences:

• 1 - 2 year experience from similar positions.
• Experience in accounting software such as Fortnox and Capego
• Great skills in Excel.
• Worked in e-commerce business.
